All Akila Dolls are 18 inches or 45cm high, so all clothes and accessories on our site are compatible with all dolls.

Yes.  We hope to expand our Akila Doll range into other ethnicities and also begin work on our disability doll range.

We do not recommend Akila Dolls to children under 3 years of age.

Yes.  Akila Dolls have gone through the following procedures.

You can find the safety and quality marks on the product packaging and the doll.

They include the following:

Warning: “Not suitable for children under 3 years”:
This means the doll marked with this are not suitable for children under three years, for example because they contain small parts that could be swallowed.

“Safety tested” mark:
This mark confirms that the doll, accessories and packaging have no ingredients that are banned in Europe are used and that all European limits are adhered to.

CE mark:
By using the CE mark, the manufacturer confirms that the product meets the fundamental safety and health requirements of all relevant EU directives. This mark is verified by test reports from independent institutes.

Lion Mark:
Developed by the British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA) for toy safety and quality, this mark confirms that the toy was manufactured in accordance with the requirements currently applicable in the United Kingdom and the European Community (BS 5665 / BS EN 71).

Akila Dolls are currently only available via our website, but we will be expanding out to retailers in the very near future.
